Last Thursday was a monumental day for Painter’s Collision Centers, as we joined hands with GEICO and the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides® program to gift a refurbished vehicle to a Phoenix mother in dire need.

We are deeply touched by the story of Angelica Wells, a resilient woman who has taken on the mantle of caring for her late sister’s children while also battling the trials life has thrown her way. Without a reliable vehicle of her own, she was renting cars to travel to work and drop her children at school.
That’s where our story intersected with Angelica’s. With the donated vehicle from GEICO, our team at Painter’s Collision Centers put their heart and soul into restoring the car to near-new condition, in the hopes that it would make a real difference to this deserving family.
The vehicle was handed over to Angelica at an event held at Family Promise in Scottsdale. The joy and relief in her eyes were worth every bit of effort that went into this project. This car is more than just a vehicle; it’s a promise of stability, security, and independence for Angelica and her family.
Thank you, GEICO, the National Auto Body Council, and all the vendors who were a part of this project. Together, we made a difference!
